As from tonight, Saturday April 14, 2007, the metro in Barcelona will open 24 hours on Saturdays and on the eve of public holidays during at least the next 6 months.

This will also affect the train lines of the Generalitat de Catalunya L6, L7, L8.

During the night the Metro will run about every 15 minutes in addition to the already operating night busses throughout Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
