World Game Day at Poble Espanyol in Barcelona

Tomorrow, Sunday May 27, a Game Day festival will be held at the well known Poble Espanyol in the Montjuic area of Barcelona, Spain.

Different areas have been created with all kind of ground and board games for children, parents and also grandparents, which should be great fun for everybody of any age.

The Game Day festival was created to defend the right of the children to play and share moments of leisure with friends and family.

 
Flamenco festival in Barcelona, Spain

The flamenco festival at the CCCB - Contemporary Cultural Centre of Barcelona - in Ciutat Vella (Old City) of Barcelona, includes until Saturday music and a flamenco show with artists such as the Carles Benavent Quartet, Juan Gomez Chicuelo and Jose Maya or Josemi Carmona.

There will be as well several chill out concerts, performing among others Alba Guerrero, Monica Navarro and Israel Galvan and Calima.

 
Basque Country festival in Barcelona

Until Sunday, around the Cathedral in the centre of Barcelona, you can enjoy Basque food, especially the famous tapas, and wine or other drinks, and listen to the traditional Basque music and enjoy Jazz concerts.

There will also be craft and tourism stands for all those who want to visit the Basque Country, apart from street performances, dances and other activities.

 
Today´s races at the Louis Vuitton cup in Valencia, Spain

The Italian sailing racing team Luna Rossa Challenge has won today against the BMW Oracle Racing team at the Louis Vuitton Cup in Valencia, Spain and leads now 3-1.

The same in the other semi final, where the Emirates Team New Zealand has reached a 3-1 advantage over the Spanish sailing team Desafio.

With five wins, any of the four teams will reach the final.
